Catherine Premji RP (Q)
Individual and Couples Therapist
Feeling disconnected, stuck in the same arguments, or unsure how you got here?
Maybe conversations with your partner keep going sideways.
Maybe small things turn into big blow-ups—or you’ve stopped talking altogether.
Or maybe life has shifted (pregnancy, a new baby, exhaustion, resentment) and your relationship doesn’t feel as steady or close as it used to.
Therapy with Catherine is about helping you slow things down, make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, and rebuild emotional safety—without blame, pressure, or “who’s right.”
Using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Catherine helps couples break out of painful, repeating cycles and learn how to respond to each other with more clarity, care, and understanding. Instead of arguing about the same issues on repeat, you’ll start to understand what each of you is really needing—and how to show up differently for one another.
Clients often come to Catherine when they’re:
Feeling disconnected or emotionally distant from their partner
Struggling to communicate without emotions taking over
Carrying resentment, stress, or unspoken hurt—especially after becoming parents
Feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward on their own
Catherine also works with individuals who feel emotionally stuck or at a crossroads and want support making sense of their next steps.
Sessions are calm, supportive, and focused on real change—not just talking in circles. You don’t have to have the right words or know exactly what’s wrong to start. You just need to know that something isn’t working the way it used to.
Catherine offers virtual sessions across Ontario, supporting couples and individuals who want more connection, steadiness, and confidence as they navigate life transitions.
When you’re ready, booking will open in a secure client portal (Owl Practice).
