Karah has a passion for working with parents and couples to reduce conflict, overwhelm and stress in addition to her many years of experience supporting children with their mental health.
Karah's years of experience working at Children's Aid and in primary care built her understanding and empathy for adult children supporting their parents and also processing the needs of children with disabilities and neurodivergence. Karah has specialized training and clinical experience in trauma-based therapies including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotion Focused Couples Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for anxiety and depression.
Karah holds a Master of Social Work degree and worked many years supporting parents and families in various community roles. She also has direct experience with first responders
